SSD SchoolLink

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 19 September 2026

1. Who we are

These Terms & Conditions are between you and SSD SchoolLink ("we", "us", the "Seller"), the operator of the SSD SchoolLink student and school portal (the "Service"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms.

2. The Service

SSD SchoolLink is an online portal for schools in South Sudan. It lets schools manage students, courses and calendars; lets students record and view results, GPA, fees and payments; and lets parents follow their children's records. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have selected.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular you must not:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
  • commit fraud or send spam through the Service;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property rights;
  • interfere with the Service's security, including introducing malware, probing or scanning for vulnerabilities, or scraping the Service;
  • reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service, or circumvent its technical limits.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. If you register on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it; if you register as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age or have a guardian's consent.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including the software, documentation and branding. You retain ownership of the content you enter (such as student records and results); you grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide the Service.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through our payment partner. For payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics, Paddle's Buyer Terms apply: https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

7. Service level

We work hard to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. The Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay amounts due, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. When access ends, you may contact us within 30 days to request an export of your data; after that it may be deleted.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages (including loss of profits, data or goodwill), and our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law requires otherwise.

10. General

You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Sudan, and disputes will be resolved in its courts.
